Moody Air Force Base
Operating as the primary contractor for the U.S. Department of the Air Force, Metro Contracting Services assumed the responsibility of delivering comprehensive janitorial services for the structures situated within Moody Air Force Base, located in Valdosta, GA. These encompassed a range of buildings requiring distinct cleaning levels, based on Air Force Custodial Standards. For instance, we adhered to Level 1 Cleaning (Prestige) standards for spaces like General Officers’ quarters, Wing/Base CC and Commander Suites. Meanwhile, Level 2 Cleaning (Basic) standards were upheld for general administrative offices, hangars, laboratories, shops, warehouses, computer labs, auditoriums, break rooms, lobbies, and conference rooms. Additionally, Air Force Custodial Standards, Level 4 Cleaning (Special Requirements), were applied to specialized facilities such as the base fitness center, child development center (including infant care rooms), and the youth center with gymnasiums, game rooms, computer labs, art rooms, and outdoor playgrounds.
Our commitment extended to both daily and periodic cleaning tasks, spanning various frequencies including weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual intervals. The extensive maintenance effort by Metro Contracting Services covered more than 156,275 square feet of facility space spread across the expansive 12,000-acre military base.
Department of Veteran Affairs
Metro Contracting Services was responsible for supplying all necessary management, workforce, staff, materials, tools, and machinery to deliver housekeeping services at the Department of Veterans Affairs Warehouse at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center situated in Hanahan, SC. The scope of housekeeping services included the cleaning of both warehouse spaces and administrative offices, with the aim of sustaining a desirable facility condition and projecting a polished, orderly, and professional image. MCS executed all cleaning duties in accordance with the provided cleaning frequency charts. Moreover, our responsibilities encompassed the provision of all essential cleaning agents and paper products to restock dispensers, along with plastic liners to line waste receptacles. Metro Contracting Services effectively managed an extensive facility area totaling more than 19,000 square feet.
South Carolina Department of Mental Health
Metro Contracting Services took charge of overseeing all aspects, including management, workforce, personnel, materials, tools, and equipment, necessary for delivering comprehensive housekeeping services for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health across the Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens areas. Our housekeeping services were directed towards maintaining the cleanliness and professional presentation of administrative offices, ensuring a satisfactory facility condition.
We meticulously adhere to the provided cleaning frequency tables, accomplishing a variety of cleaning tasks that encompass routine actions such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, and removing trash. Our services extend to providing essential cleaning chemicals and paper products to restock dispensers and supply plastic liners for waste receptacles.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Metro Contracting Services assumes full responsibility for providing comprehensive janitorial services as detailed in the schedule of janitorial services for leased space under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Our responsibilities encompass all aspects, including management, supervision, inspections, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, and any other requisites necessary for effective service delivery.
We prioritize maintaining a consistently clean and hygienic workplace environment. Our range of duties spans tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping floors, and ensuring the overall freshness of restrooms and common areas. This commitment is upheld through daily routine inspections carried out at designated times.
Our janitorial service encompasses all allocated spaces, covering a wide range including, but not limited to, halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, common areas, test room areas, and storage room areas.
Currently, we proudly extend our services to more than 20 U.S. Army Corps of Engineer offices across Michigan, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
