The ideal candidate has relevant professional cleaning experience in and around a commercial office building. Janitor ensures that the space to which they are assigned remains tidy and orderly. Responsibilities are as follows:
- Scrub inside of toilet with disinfectant & surrounding area.
- Clean and disinfect sink.
- Clean mirror with glass cleaner/ dust light fixture.
- Refill paper towel and tissue as needed.
- Refill soap dispenser as needed/ clean dispenser.
- Wipe doors and door knobs with disinfectant.
- Clean and disinfect all water fountains.
- Sweep or vacuum all uncarpeted areas and wet mop with disinfectant cleaner. All floors must be kept clean, dirt-free, and trash free.
- All carpet shall be vacuumed thoroughly. (“Thoroughly vacuumed” is defined as vacuuming all exposed carpet, i.e., under chairs, tables, desk, etc.)
- Empty trash in all offices and bathrooms
- Replace all trash can liners as needed and spray with disinfectant.
- Clean all door entrance glass.
